WHO ARE WE?

Pirouette Rhythmic Gymnastics Club was established in 1996 as a non-profit organization that provides a warm, friendly environment for teaching rhythmic gymnastics in the Barrhaven/Riverside South, Manotick areas of Ottawa. We are an affiliated member of Gymnastics Ontario.

WHAT TRAINING DO THE COACHES HAVE?

We provide a team of professionally certified rhythmic gymnastics coaches qualified under the National Coaching Association of Canada (NCCP). Our coaches also have professional training from countries like the Czech Republic and Russia. Our coaches always keep informed of and research the latest developments and trends used to successfully teach and train participants in each program offered.

WHAT PROGRAMS DO YOU OFFER?

Pirouette offers affordable and accessible community-based programs for young girls. We have recreational, pre-competitive, and competitive programs, along with a Gymnaestrada performance team. We provide a variety of opportunities for gymnasts to showcase their abilities and/or compete in the sport of rhythmic gymnastics locally, provincially, nationally, and internationally. We also offer summer day camp programs in July and August.

TRAINING OBJECTIVE?

Our goal is to help gymnasts develop skills such as flexibility, balance, endurance, power, grace and apparatus technique while all the while having fun! All of our classes are designed to meet each participant’s individual needs and level of performance, while maintaining program standards and learning objectives.

WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?

Our home studio is located at 3500 Fallowfield Rd Unit 1D, Nepean, ON K2J 4B3. Our other locations are based out of school gyms in the Barrhaven area. Our facilities are equipped with FIG certified rhythmic carpets along with a variety of acro mats, apparatus, music system, mirrors and ballet bars.

HOW CAN I VOLUNTEER AS A PARENT?

Pirouette is a non-profit organization and is organized though developing and nurturing a solid group of volunteer parents and community members. If you are a parent and would like to be apart of our board please contact us at pirouetterg@gmail.com.
